Basic Requirements

• Internet Broadband Connection

• A Maxis Remote Surveillance compatible camera system installed, be it an IP based Maxis Remote Surveillance compatible DVR system or a Maxis Remote Surveillance compatible IP camera system.

• A MIDP2.0, J2ME Mobile Phone, PDA, Windows Mobile Compatible phone connecting via GPRS, EDGE 3G or 3.5G network.

If you already have a camera or CCTV system, to utilize Maxis Remote Surveillance, you need to upgrade with Maxis Remote Surveillance compatible video server or IP Encoder and to subscribe to Maxis Remote Surveillance & an internet broadband connection.

Note: Internet broadband connection is necessary for this service to enable ‘LIVE’ video streamed out from camera at broadband speed, transferring the video feed to your GPRS or 3G mobile phone.
